Nemesias Sunsatia
Nemesias Sunsatia represents a complete breakthrough in breeding! A unique variety, the Sunsatia is the first series with so vibrant a range of colors produced from cuttings, rather than seed. As a result, Sunsatia will not set seed as readily as the more traditional, seed-grown varieties. This leads to fruity-colored blooms that last well into autumn. Introduce Nemesias Sunsatia to your garden and enjoy this fragrant flower from May through September.

The Joys of Houseplants
It might still feel like winter outside, but you can get a jump on spring by bringing home some beautiful living houseplants from your local Navlet’s Garden Center. We have a great selection of healthy plants in many different sizes and varieties – from delicate-looking ferns to full-sized philodendrons and triangle palms. Bring some flowering color into your home with African violets, begonias, cyclamen, and of course, orchids. Or choose plants with interesting foliage such as the multi-colored coleus, or hypoestes (pink polka-dot plant).

We carry a wide variety of plant stands and containers for every decorating situation, along with anything else you might need to ensure that your houseplants live a long and healthy life.

Flowering Vines
Their flexible stems allow them to be trained up and over fences, arbors, trellises, and posts. Some can even act as ground covers.

Hardenbergia, or Lilac Vine, has attractive clusters of purple blossoms, and will climb to 10 feet. This does best in light, well-drained soil. In hottest climates make sure it gets partial shade.

Pink Jasmine is known for its spectacular spring display of fragrant pink-white flowers. With proper sunlight, this vine will grow up to 20 feet.

Create a Garden Sanctuary

Now is the time to start making plans... turn your own backyard (or just part of it) into a peaceful sanctuary! With the help of Navlet's garden experts, you can put together a beautiful garden area that will be ready for you and your family to enjoy.

Just pick a theme – you can re-create the charm of America's Southwest with small or full-sized chimineas, and terra-cotta pavers and pottery accents. If your taste runs more towards a Provincial- or Italian-style courtyard, choose antiqued statuary and fountains.

Train fragrant and lovely climbing roses onto a trellis to separate one area from another, and create a more intimate setting.

Even if you just have a small deck or patio, you can turn it into an inviting, usable area with the addition of large plants grown in decorative containers and some pieces of comfortable garden furniture. Light outdoor candles around the perimeter to help define and brighten the area.

Get creative... with several dwarf palms and the right accessories, you can transform even the most standard backyard or patio into your own version of Casablanca or Hawaii.

Stop by your local Navlet's and take a look at our huge selection of plants and products. We'll be happy to help you create the perfect outdoor space!

Add Lasting Elegance
Perennials can be the framework around which you design your garden. Perennials can live for years and years, especially in the mild, Mediterranean climate we enjoy here in the Bay Area. Ask your local Navlet's professional for advice on growing these beautiful flowering plants, such as Foxglove, Coryops, Osteospermum and Nemesia.

If you want dramatic garden color, consider planting annuals, such as Marigolds, Pansies, Violas and Lobelia. Their vibrant color display can last for months and will definitely brighten up your garden quickly.
