Prepare The Area
Pick a location suitable for your pond and clear it of plants and debris. Next, mark the shape of a pond you desire.

Dig It!
OK, perhaps this part isn't fun and easy, but the depth only needs to be 18" to 24" for a simple pond.

Line It & Fill It
Spread flexible liner in the hole, overlapping the edges. Anchor liner at edges with decorative rocks. Fill pond with water.

Landscape & Enjoy It
Now this is the fun part. Landscape the surrounding area, then sit back and enjoy.
