Sweet Peas... a Selection from Lake Valley Seed
| Navlet's is happy to offer several varieties of the well-loved Sweet Pea. Easy to grow and abundant in bloom, many of these varieties make wonderful fresh-cut flowers when gathered in bunches. Here are a few of our favorites: |
Although most varieties prefer warm weather, Early Multiflora is one of the few Sweet Peas that will bloom during the short days of winter when planted in warmer climates.
The Sicilian Heirloom strain beats the heat in the summer, and blooms from June to frost. This variety climbs 3-4 feet in height, and is available in a mix of pink, blue, crimson, and cream.
A warm summer evening favorite is the Painted Lady Sweet Pea. Its fragrant pink-and-white flowers permeate the air with
a hint of sweetness from mid-spring through early summer.
The Royal Family Sweet Pea is a climbing variety found in a delightful mix of large, colorful, fragrant blooms with long stems for easy cutting.
