Fall Fertilizing... It's a Definite "To Do"

By early fall, many gardeners are ready to hang up their trowels and put away the gloves. Experienced gardeners, however, recognize the importance of this season when it comes to preparing plants for the cool winter months ahead. Fall fertilizing is critical to promoting strong root development and helping resist diseases between now and next spring.

Flowers: GreenAll Ultra Bloom 0-10-10 is the plant food of choice for many plants in the fall. Ultra Bloom is formulated without nitrogen to help develop flower buds and make blooms bigger and brighter.

Lawns: Apply GreenAll Fall & Winter Feed to lawns now. It is formulated to improve growth and greening, to help roots develop, and aid in disease resistance.

Fruit: It's important to fertilize after harvest. We recommend GreenAll Fruit Tree and Vine food. The better the flower bud develops before the tree goes dormant, the better the chance for a bountiful crop next season.

New Plants: GreenAll Sure Start Fertilizer should be used at planting time to give plants, flowers, and newly seeded or sod lawns the nutrients they need to help develop a strong root system.

Just remember, fertilizing before growth activity slows in the fall is just as important as fertilizing in the spring.
