| Dwarf Azaleas - the "In Between" Plant
Carefully plan where you will plant your dwarf azaleas. Choose a place with light to moderate shade; the plants tolerate some sun. Azalea flowers last much longer on plants in filtered shade than on those plants in full sun Dwarf azaleas like moist, well-drained soil. They are dense, compact growers that grow slowly and reach 2 1/2 feet high and 2 feet wide. The plants are a great companion with Liriopes, Mondo Grass, Lily of the Valley, Shrubs, and Fringe Flower. Feed dwarf azaleas monthly with Dr. Earth Azalea, Camellias and Rhododendron food. Stop by any of our Navlet's locations to view our selection of Dwarf Azaleas. We'll be happy to help you select the variety that best suits your gardening needs. |
