Navlet's Mini-Clinic Archive - How To Care For Your Holiday Tree

Perhaps the best part about Christmas is the tree; that wonderful, fresh pine scent permeating your home is both soothing and nostalgic. It's always a little sad when your tree begins to dry up and turn brown. However, you can keep your cut tree fresher, longer, with these simple tips from the pros at Navlet's. So enjoy your cut tree and the wonderful smell a little longer. A fresh tree not only looks better... it's safer, too.

Hose It Down!
Gently hose all dirt, debris and loose needles from the tree and then let it completely dry.

Cut It!
Carefully cut at least 1" from base of tree trunk to "open" trunk for water.

Secure It!
Place the tree trunk securely on a tree stand that is equipped with a water reservoir.

Water It !
Fill the water reservoir with mixture of water and Navlet's Stay Fresh tree preserver. Refill the reservoir as needed with the same mixture.
