HOW-TO FOR SUMMER:

How to Plant a Color BowlHow To Plant A Color BowlHere’s a simple-yet-dazzling project that will add spectacular color to your garden, patio, entry, or balcony. Potted color bowls are beautiful and extremely easy to grow. Your local Navlet’s has everything you need, including gorgeous pottery and expert advice

Just follow these simple steps and see if creating a color bowl sounds like a fun and rewarding project for this weekend.
4 Simple Steps
Step OneStep 1
Gather the Materials
Select an attractive pot that matches your project. Then gather an appropriate amount of Navlet’s Potting Soil, Osmocote fertilizer, and a compatible mix of plants in varying heights.
Step TwoStep 2
Plant It
Fill the container to within a couple inches of the rim with the potting soil and fertilizer mix. Then, starting in the middle with the tallest plants, begin planting. Work your way to the edge as you add plants.
Step ThreeStep 3
Fill It
Color bowls are intended for instant impact, so the fuller the pot, the better it will look. A nice touch is to add some plants along the edge that will trail over the sides. When finished planting, pack the soil around each plant and add soil if needed.
Step FourStep 4
Water It
Water it well and regularly. The dense planting and limited soil may mean your bowl will dry quickly. To keep your flowers vibrant, be sure to replenish the soil nutrients with periodic fertilizing. Now sit back, let it bloom, and enjoy.
